[Hiring] Head of Product, AI Business Intelligence @ApartmentIQ

Role Description

We’re hiring a Head of Product, AI Business Intelligence to lead an AI-native BI platform for multifamily. We’re building for what comes after the dashboard. This is a 0-to-1 role: You’ll move from customer conversation to shipped product faster than most companies write a spec, work directly with customers, and build alongside product leadership, design, and engineering. We want someone who thinks like a product leader and can also get their hands dirty with design, prototyping, and rapid iteration. • Own the AI Business Intelligence product line end to end — from discovery and positioning through launch and adoption
• Decide where models belong in the experience and where they don’t — the judgment calls that separate a product that is genuinely AI-native from AI bolted onto reporting
• Ship fast. Write specs, design workflows, build prototypes, and work side-by-side with designers and engineers to get features into production
• Design evaluation frameworks to systematically measure output quality — build test suites, analyze answer patterns and edge cases, and use those signals to iteratively improve performance
• Define and validate the guardrails that make the product’s output safe, explainable, and trustworthy when real dollars ride on it
• Shape the data foundation the product stands on — what we need, what has to be normalized, and which questions that finally lets us answer
• Stand up customer feedback loops (weekly cadences with key accounts across operators, asset managers, and ownership groups) and use those signals to prioritize ruthlessly
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales Engineering, and our existing product teams to make sure the product lands well and drives adoption

Qualifications

• Builder mentality over pedigree. We care about what you’ve shipped and how quickly
• 9+ years in product management at a high-growth startup or tech company — including at least one product you owned from 0-to-1, end to end
• Shipped 0-to-1 products that customers actually use — not just features on a roadmap slide. Founder and co-founder backgrounds encouraged
• Strong product instincts with design sensibility
• Fluency in leading customer discovery and translating messy qualitative feedback into clear product direction
• Experience defining quality metrics and building evaluation loops — you’ve measured whether something is working and used those signals to make it better
• Hands-on with LLMs: A large part of this job is the model layer, so ideally you have built with modern AI tools or have a track record of learning new technology fast
• Bias to action and iteration over perfection and process
• A background in BI, analytics, or data platforms is welcome if you’re clear-eyed that this generation of the category gets built differently
• Proptech, multifamily, or real estate experience is a plus but not required
