[Hiring] Head of E-Sports Trading @Betby

Role Description

Seeking a top tier Head of E-Sports who will take charge of managing the full development cycle of the sports division: from mathematical modeling and purchasing data feeds to P&L management and the implementation of innovative product mechanics. The goal is to create a competitive, high tech product within the sports division.

• Formulates a long term strategy for the development of the E-sports unit with a focus on multiplying profitability.
• Responsible for budgeting and P&L control of the unit.
• Effectively adjusts the betting line strategy and promptly resolves issues with weak market coverage.
• Deeply understands the architecture of the models within the unit and can make targeted changes to them to maximize trading efficiency; interacts with trading software developers.
• Determines which data feeds are optimal for specific sports/leagues. Excellently navigates the data supplier market: knows the market value and understands how to maximize unit revenue using this data.
• Clearly understands what product solutions for the sport are currently in demand. Possesses inside knowledge (margin benchmarks in various GEOs and crypto brands).
• Manages key product features (Betbuilder, Early Payout) and continuously generates new ideas for effectively marketing the sport.
• Knows how to draw attention to specific sports/championships/markets; builds an effective strategy for maintaining interest and sales.
• Capable of building a strong team and managing it so that the strategy is implemented exactly according to plan.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing a sports division in major iGaming companies.
• Successful experience in managing and optimizing the P&L of a sports unit.
• Deep understanding of the sports data supplier market, knowledge of their real market value, and ways to optimize data costs.
• High mathematical literacy - understanding the principles of building forecasting models and calculating probabilities.
• Experience in successfully implementing and commercializing product features in the sports category.
• Excellent negotiation skills (English B2+).
