[Hiring] Growth Product Manager @Calm

Role Description

As a Growth Product Manager on Calm's direct-to-consumer business, you'll help more people discover, adopt, and build daily habits with Calm. You'll own the growth product strategy and roadmap, accountable for driving subscriber growth, activation, revenue per user, and retention. Your goal is to make it effortless for users to form a lasting mindfulness habit while helping Calm reach and sustain its growth goals.

Day to day, you will:

• Own growth strategy and roadmap: Develop and own Calm's growth product strategy and roadmap, translating company revenue, subscriber, and DAU goals into a prioritized set of bets across activation, conversion, and retention.
• Run a high-velocity experiment program: Form sharp hypotheses, design and ship A/B tests with engineering and data science, and read results honestly — including the ones that don't win.
• Remove friction from key journeys: Use quantitative and qualitative data to find where users drop off in onboarding, habit-building, and account flows, then test simpler paths through them.
• Ship habit mechanics: Build the features that help users plan, track, and celebrate progress, so a first session becomes a daily practice.
• Write PRDs that make decisions easy: Spell out the job to be done, the opportunity, success metrics, and the plan to ship and iterate — then bring engineers, designers, marketers, and leadership along as the plan changes.

Qualifications

• A growth PM, or equivalent, with 4+ years in consumer product, owning a growth metric (subscriber growth, conversion, retention) across consumer mobile (iOS and Android) and web.
• A subscription-business operator: Fluent in the economics of consumer subscription (trial and paywall conversion, LTV, churn).
• A rapid experimenter: Experienced in fast experiment design and analysis (A/B tests, holdouts, sequential testing).
• Data-fluent: Adept at sourcing quantitative and qualitative data to prioritize a roadmap and make feature calls.
• A student of habit formation: Knowledgeable about what drives repeat daily usage and how to build the mechanics (streaks, reminders, progress, celebration).
• AI-native and tooling-fluent: Proficient in leveraging AI tools to drive team velocity and build lasting workflows.
• Technically agile: Comfortable discussing complexity and tradeoffs with engineers, able to prototype your own ideas.
• Exceptional at documentation and organization: Maintains experiment logs, results archives, and roadmap docs in an accessible state.
• A low-ego, persuasive partner: Clear in presenting thoughts to stakeholders and senior leadership, holding positions with conviction.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant experience in growth, product management, or equivalent.

Benefits

• Base pay range: $147,800 - $226,700, determined by geographic location, skills, experience, and other qualifications.
