[Hiring] Growth Product Manager @Calm.com

Role Description

As a Growth Product Manager on Calm's direct-to-consumer business, you'll help more people discover, adopt, and build daily habits with Calm. You'll own the growth product strategy and roadmap, accountable for driving subscriber growth, activation, revenue per user, and retention. Your goal is to make it effortless for users to form a lasting mindfulness habit while helping Calm reach and sustain its growth goals.

Day to day, you will:

• Own growth strategy and roadmap: Develop and own Calm's growth product strategy and roadmap, translating company revenue, subscriber, and DAU goals into a prioritized set of bets across activation, conversion, and retention.
• Run a high-velocity experiment program: Form sharp hypotheses, design and ship A/B tests with engineering and data science, and read results honestly — including the ones that don't win.
• Remove friction from key journeys: Use quantitative and qualitative data to find where users drop off in onboarding, habit-building, and account flows, then test simpler paths through them.
• Ship habit mechanics: Build the features that help users plan, track, and celebrate progress, so a first session becomes a daily practice.
• Write PRDs that make decisions easy: Spell out the job to be done, the opportunity, success metrics, and the plan to ship and iterate — then bring engineers, designers, marketers, and leadership along as the plan changes.

Qualifications

• A growth PM, or equivalent, who's owned the number: 4+ years in consumer product, with a track record of owning a growth metric (subscriber growth, conversion, retention) and setting the strategy to move it, across consumer mobile (iOS and Android) and web.
• A subscription-business operator: Fluent in the economics of consumer subscription (trial and paywall conversion, LTV, churn) and how product decisions show up in them.
• A rapid experimenter: Experienced in fast experiment design and analysis (A/B tests, holdouts, sequential testing), with the statistical judgment to know when a result is real and when it's noise.
• Data-fluent: Adept at sourcing quantitative and qualitative data to prioritize a roadmap and make feature calls, and decisive when the data won't settle it.
• A student of habit formation: You know what drives repeat daily usage and how to build the mechanics (streaks, reminders, progress, celebration) that turn a new user into a daily one.
• AI-native and tooling-fluent: Highly proficient in leveraging AI tools to drive team velocity and build lasting workflows, with the judgment to know when the output is good enough and when it isn't.
• Technically agile: Comfortable discussing complexity and tradeoffs with engineers, and able to prototype your own ideas rather than wait in a queue.
• Exceptional at documentation and organization: You keep the experiment log, results archive, and roadmap docs in a state where anyone can find what was tested, what it showed, and what's live.
• A low-ego, persuasive partner: You present your thinking clearly in writing and in the room, to stakeholders and senior leadership alike, hold positions with conviction and update them on evidence.

• 4+ years of relevant experience in growth, product management, or equivalent.

Benefits

• Base pay ranges across Calm’s pay tiers is as follows: $147,800 - $226,700.
• This role is also eligible for equity + comprehensive benefits + 401k + flexible time off.
