[Hiring] Director/Principal Industry Product Advisor, Manufacturing @Unanet

Role Description

We’re looking for a product advisor with deep manufacturing industry/software domain expertise to help define and deliver our manufacturing-focused software solutions.

• Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, and User Experience Design to translate real-world manufacturing workflows into scalable software capabilities.
• Shape our manufacturing product strategy, including the integration of AI to solve complex industry challenges.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with emphasis in discrete, complex project manufacturing (e.g., aerospace, defense).
• Deep understanding of the “jobs to be done” for manufacturing software users (e.g., demand forecasting, material sourcing, work package orchestration).
• Ability to clearly articulate complex industry concepts to Product, Engineering, and executive stakeholders.
• Forward-thinking perspective on integrating AI/automation into manufacturing software solutions, grounded in real-world applicability.
• Bachelor’s degree.

Requirements

• Previous experience translating industry workflows into shipped software products or features.
• Demonstrable ability to think and operate strategically, including anticipating future trends based on manufacturing industry expertise.
• Previous experience in manufacturing-focused GovCon.

Benefits

• Salary range: $160,000 - $190,000 per year.
• Eligible for employee equity and discretionary bonus compensation, subject to plans that may be in effect from time to time.
