Role Description

We are seeking a Director of Product Marketing & Sales Enablement to shape how Zenith genomics is positioned, explained, and adopted in the rare disease market. This leader owns the work that turns strategy into field results, partnering closely with various teams to ensure a single, integrated go-to-market plan.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Marketing & Messaging
  • Own product positioning and the core messaging framework for Zenith.
  • Lead development of sales and customer-facing assets.
  • Maintain a current view of the rare disease genomics landscape.
  • Work with Medical and Clinical teams to convert new publications into messaging.
  • Own the product marketing workstream of the Zenith launch plan.
• Sales Enablement & Customer Adoption
  • Design and run onboarding, training, and ongoing education for the sales team.
  • Map and continuously improve the customer adoption journey.
  • Serve as the primary marketing partner to Sales leadership.
  • Partner with Market Access and Reimbursement for field-ready tools.
• Commercial Insights & Targeting
  • Partner with Sales and corporate analytics to define customer segments.
  • Define KPIs that track funnel health and adoption.
  • Represent the Rare Disease BU's needs to corporate Commercial Operations.
• Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Partner with the clinical community marketing lead for integrated planning.
  • Serve as the commercial connective tissue across various departments.
  • Manage assigned budget and agency/vendor partners.
  • Build the business case and hire for additional capacity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or Marketing; MBA, MPH, or advanced scientific degree preferred.
• 8+ years of commercial experience in diagnostics, genomics, or life sciences.
• Demonstrated success supporting or leading product launches.
• Experience in genomics, rare disease, or precision diagnostics strongly preferred.
• Experience partnering directly with a field sales organization.
• Experience managing or developing a team is a plus.

Skills & Competencies

• Ability to learn and distill complex clinical and genomic data into compelling narratives.
• Comfortable interpreting segmentation, funnel, and commercial performance data.
• Track record of building scalable commercial processes and workflows.
• Working understanding of diagnostic reimbursement and payer dynamics.
• Comfort operating in white space where market data is limited.
• Influences without authority and builds strong partnerships.

Compensation Range

$186,600 — $233,300 USD
