Role Description

As Chief Product Officer, you will lead DigniFi's Product and Engineering organizations and play a key role in shaping the company's product strategy and future growth. You will be responsible for building a product vision that drives customer value, product monetization, and business results while ensuring our teams are aligned and focused on execution. This role requires a strong cross-functional leader who can connect product, technology, and business priorities, remove barriers to execution, and build high-performing teams that deliver meaningful outcomes for our customers and partners.

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Define and communicate the company's long-term product vision and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  • Establish product strategy that supports product monetization, revenue growth, customer acquisition, merchant engagement, and operational efficiency.
  • Prioritize product investments based on business value, customer insights, data, and market opportunities, with a clear focus on commercial impact and monetization opportunities.
  • Identify emerging technologies and industry trends to maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Partner with different team leaders to develop and prioritize product roadmaps that support tribe objectives and company strategic priorities.
  • Ensure product investments are aligned with cross-functional business goals and deliver measurable business value, with a focus on product monetization and revenue generation.
  • Foster collaboration across tribes to identify opportunities for innovation, process improvements, and scalable technology solutions.

Product Management

  • Lead the Product Management team through all phases of the product lifecycle, from discovery through delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure product roadmaps are aligned with company priorities and Tribe objectives, with a strong focus on execution and measurable business outcomes.
  • Champion customer-centric product development using data, user feedback, and market research.
  • Define product success metrics and monitor product performance, including adoption, engagement, monetization, and revenue impact.

Engineering Leadership

  • Lead the Engineering organization to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure technology solutions.
  • Partner with engineering leadership to establish technical strategy, architecture, and development standards.
  • Balance speed of delivery with system stability, quality, and security.
  • Promote modern software development practices, agile delivery, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure Engineering resources are effectively aligned to support tribe priorities while maintaining technical excellence, platform stability, and long-term architectural goals.
  • Promote collaboration between Engineering and business teams to accelerate execution and delivery while balancing speed, quality, security, and scalability.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner closely with Credit & Risk to develop underwriting, fraud, servicing, and decisioning capabilities that support responsible growth.
  • Collaborate with Sales to understand customer and merchant needs, improve product adoption, and prioritize enhancements that drive revenue.
  • Work with Operations to improve internal processes and customer experiences through technology.
  • Partner with Compliance and Legal to ensure products meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on product positioning, launches, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships to align priorities, remove execution barriers, and ensure teams are working together to deliver product and business outcomes.

Executive Leadership

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team on product, technology, innovation, and product monetization opportunities.
  • Present product strategy, technology initiatives, and performance updates to the Executive Team and Board of Directors.
  • Build strong partnerships across departments to align priorities and drive effective execution.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Establish KPIs and operational metrics for Product and Engineering, including metrics that measure product adoption, monetization, revenue impact, and delivery.
  • Ensure efficient allocation of resources to maximize business impact.

Team Leadership

  • Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing Product and Engineering teams.
  • Coach and mentor leaders to build organizational capability.
  • Establish clear goals, performance expectations, and career development opportunities.
  • Create an environment that encourages innovation, ownership, and collaboration.
  • Build a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability by empowering Product and Engineering leaders to actively participate in and support cross-functional tribes.
  • Develop leaders who can influence without formal authority, collaborate effectively across departments, and contribute to the success of the broader organization.
  • Hold Product and Engineering leaders accountable for execution, delivery, and measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Product Management, Engineering, or Technology.
  • 5+ years leading Product and Engineering teams.
  • Experience building and executing product strategy in a fintech, financial services, SaaS, or technology organization.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex technology initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of Agile product development and software engineering practices.
  • Experience managing product portfolios, roadmaps, and technology investments.
  • Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in consumer lending, embedded finance, payments, automotive technology, or financial services.
  • Experience working with APIs, partner integrations, and platform-based products.
  • MBA or advanced technical degree.
  • Experience in a high-growth or investor-backed company.
