Role Description

As a Business Analysis Manager on the Velocity Black Product Strategy & Analytics team, you will apply your strategic and analytical expertise to tackle critical challenges across Velocity Black. You will help shape product vision by:

• Generating user insights
• Solving whitespace problems
• Owning testing strategies
• Leading product growth initiatives

Working alongside BA, Product, Design, Engineering, Risk, and Compliance partners, you will be an integral part of an exciting, fast-paced, cross-functional team building a cutting-edge product.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional experience performing analysis
• A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field or a Master's Degree in a quantitative field or an MBA with a quantitative concentration

Requirements

• Develop business strategies that will drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for Capital One
• May manage and develop 1-2 analysts, coaching and mentoring associates
• Develop and implement new product and pricing strategies for various lending products
• Lead direct-to-consumer marketing efforts for select products
• Drive improvements in credit performance by creating risk models
• Manage and sequence delivery of business intent and oversee multiple projects
• Work closely with colleagues across Capital One to drive improvement in quality, volume, service, and profitability
• Proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics
• Strong business judgment, leadership, and integrity
• Ability to build and leverage the capabilities of a high-performing team
• Impeccable written and oral communication skills
• Display an intense focus on achieving both short and long-term goals
• Successful track record of thriving in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
