Role Description

The Associate Product Manager partners closely with Product Managers to drive product strategy and support the full product lifecycle of a global product portfolio. This role is ideal for an analytical business professional who enjoys optimizing product performance, improving profitability, and collaborating across multiple functions to drive business results.

• Support Product Strategy and Business Growth: Partner with Product Managers to execute portfolio strategies that drive revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage Product Lifecycle Activities: Oversee product launches, portfolio optimization, product enhancements, and end-of-life planning.
• Analyze Portfolio Performance: Evaluate sales, profitability, pricing, inventory, and market trends to identify opportunities and improve business results.
• Drive Portfolio Optimization: Identify SKU rationalization, product mix, and margin improvement opportunities that enhance portfolio performance and operational efficiency.
• Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, distributors, and contract manufacturing partners to execute product initiatives and support customer needs.
• Support Commercial Excellence: Assist with pricing, forecasting, distributor programs, inventory planning, and business analysis.
• Deliver Market and Customer Insights: Evaluate customer feedback, industry trends, and competitive activity to support business decisions and identify growth opportunities.
• Support New Product Introductions: Partner with cross-functional teams to successfully launch and commercialize new products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field; or equivalent relevant experience.
• 2-5 years of experience in Product Management or a related business, engineering, or analytical role.
• Experience supporting products throughout the product lifecycle, including portfolio management, product launches, commercialization, or new product introduction activities.
• Experience analyzing product performance, profitability, pricing, forecasting, or market data to support business decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in manufacturing, connectivity, networking, cabling, infrastructure, or related industries preferred.
• Experience with SKU management, distributor relationships, contract manufacturing, or product development processes preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations and manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Up to 10% travel for customer visits, industry events, and facility visits.

• Compensation: The expected annual base salary range for this role is $75,000 - $95,000. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
