Role Description

IIX is seeking an Associate Director for IIX technology platforms to lead IIX Fintech, a newly integrated vertical that brings together three core platforms:

• IIX Values™ – impact measurement, ESG, and data analytics platform
• Impact Partners™ – enterprise engagement and investor connectivity platform
• IIX Institute™ – knowledge, training, and capacity-building arm

The Associate Director will serve as the strategic bridge between IIX’s Asset Management and Advisory businesses, ensuring that data, technology, and knowledge systems drive both investment performance and advisory excellence. This is a senior leadership role requiring a unique combination of business acumen, systems thinking, and execution capability. The successful candidate will unify these platforms into a coherent, revenue-generating, and scalable business line.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership & Integration
  • Build and lead IIX Fintech as a cohesive business unit, integrating IIX Values™, Impact Partners™, and IIX Institute™ into a unified strategy
  • Position IIX Fintech as the connective tissue between Asset Management and Advisory, ensuring seamless flow of data, insights, and client solutions
  • Develop and execute a 3–5 year growth strategy for IIX Fintech, aligned with IIX’s broader vision of scaling Orange Capital markets
• Product & Platform Development
  • Oversee continued development of data analytics and impact measurement tools (IIX Values™), digital engagement and marketplace capabilities (Impact Partners™), and training, certification, and thought leadership programs (IIX Institute™)
  • Ensure platforms are market-relevant, user-centric, and scalable across geographies
  • Work closely with tech and analytics teams to translate business needs into product innovation
• Team Leadership & Organizational Building
  • Lead and manage a globally distributed team across technology, analytics, and training functions
  • Rebuild and strengthen the IIX Institute into a leading global knowledge hub
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation across teams
  • Recruit, mentor, and retain top talent aligned with IIX’s mission and PREM values
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with the Asset Management team to embed data and analytics into investment strategies and reporting
  • Collaborate with the Advisory team to deliver integrated solutions for clients and governments
  • Ensure IIX Fintech enhances both capital mobilization efforts and policy advisory outcomes
• Operational Excellence
  • Establish clear KPIs, performance metrics, and reporting structures for the Fintech vertical
  • Ensure efficient delivery across platforms, maintaining high-quality outputs and client satisfaction
  • Oversee budgets, resource allocation, and financial sustainability of the unit

Qualifications

• 15–18+ years of experience across fintech, impact investing, consulting, or digital platform businesses
• Proven track record of building and scaling business units or platforms
• Strong understanding of financial markets, ESG/impact measurement, and emerging markets
• Experience working across technology, analytics, and business development functions

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related fields
• 10+ years of experience in platform management, data analytics, and digital product development
• Expertise in strategic thinking, execution, and product innovation
• Strong understanding of data analytics, visualization tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Tableau), and UI/UX principles
• Experience working with ESG frameworks, impact investing, and sustainable finance
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive stakeholder engagement
• Familiarity with data privacy, security regulations, and compliance standards
