Role Description

Under the direction of the Director, Institutional Information Products, the AI Content Licensing Product Manager will manage AI content licensing product strategy in this quickly evolving space. This role will be responsible for continuing to strengthen customer relationships and driving commercial sustainability in this emerging area. This is a fully remote opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support IEEE’s AI product strategy, vision, and roadmap for agentic retrieval and orchestration, including product portfolio development.

  • Manage the data licensing roadmap.
  • Clearly communicate to global sales and client support teams on the functionality and use cases for the products under portfolio, including working with the product launch and engagement team on positioning, messaging, and collateral.

  • Successful go-to-market and product launch experience.
  • Ability to foster a data-driven culture across the team.
  • Comfortable with rapid prototyping; able to build POCs and validate ideas alongside engineering and data science teams.
  • Experience in customer discovery in academic, research, or corporate information markets is highly desirable.
  • Technically fluent, with sound analytical judgment, ability to reason about system boundaries and trade-offs, contribute substantively to architecture discussions, and engage credibly with AI researchers, engineers, and platform teams.
  • Experience developing products with AI a plus.
