[Hiring] Transportation Representative @Amazon

Role Description

A Transportation Specialist inbound at NOC facilitates flow of information between different stakeholders (Vendors/Sellers/Inbound Supply chain/category managers/Fulfillment centers) and resolves any potential issues that impact vendor/seller experience and business continuity.

• Works on Inbound operations dealing with appointment scheduling at Fulfillment centers requested by Vendors/sellers/carriers.
• Ensures that the truck reaches the FC for shipment delivery from vendors/sellers as per schedule.
• Addresses any potential issues occurring during the lifecycle of freight placement and freight unloading at FCs.
• Provides timely resolution to issues by researching and querying internal tools and making real-time decisions.
• Should be able to analyze data, notice trends, and drive vendor/seller experience without compromising on time.
• Must have a basic understanding of Logistics and communicate clearly in written and oral form.
• Should ideate process improvements and have the zeal to drive them to conclusion.

Qualifications

• Graduation in any specialization from a recognized university.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English language.
• Ability to communicate correctly and clearly with all customers.
• Good comprehension skills – ability to clearly understand and state the issues customers present.
• Ability to concentrate – follow customers' issues without distraction to resolution.
• Work successfully in a team environment as well as independently.
• Familiarity with Windows, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, internet browser.
• Excellent typing skills.
• Demonstrates an ability to successfully navigate websites.
• Demonstrates a proficient knowledge of email applications.
