Role Description

The technical service coordinator will be responsible for managing day-to-day service activities for the industrial refrigeration department.

• Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules.
• Assign technicians to service calls based on their skill set.
• Verify and ensure work orders are completed and properly directed.
• Accurately record and process technicians' hours worked in the computerized management system for payroll.
• Participate in the procurement and supply chain for parts required for technicians' interventions.
• Coordinate training for technicians and potentially customers, if required.
• Collaborate closely with sales, invoicing, accounts payable, and management teams to perform job duties effectively.

Qualifications

• Technically inclined (knowledge of mechanical/HVAC systems is an asset).
• Experience in dispatching/scheduling an asset.
• 1 to 2 years of work experience in team coordination function.
• Proficient in MS Office suite, especially Excel.
• Mastery of the use of the computer for business purposes in general.
• Strong communication skills in French and ability to communicate in English in a customer service context is an asset.
