[Hiring] Supplier Performance Specialist @RTX

Role Description

This position will be remote based (work from home) in the Greater Tampa Bay, FL Area. The position will require frequent travel in Greater Tampa Bay, FL Area and therefore the selected candidate must live in this region.

• Identify Bottleneck/Capacity Constraints that will be used to develop improvement and mitigation plans for improved on-time delivery from suppliers.
• Acquire a vision of the big picture and understand that enhancing operational effectiveness is key to organizational business performance.
• Drive for results, consistently pursuing continued ways to accomplish goals and objectives that requires extraordinary determination, self-motivation, and interpersonal skills to satisfy our Customer’s needs.
• Develop a strong understanding of the products and the operational processes they go through at the suppliers you will be working with.
• Ability to generate and gain opportunities to break functional, operational, & logistical barriers faced with getting products out the door.
• Reveal and work to remove barriers to business goals specific to the on-time delivery of parts.
• Effectively drive tasks/projects to completion which includes Leading Indicator (LI) data collection: RM availability and on order, WIP tracking, Quality notification closures, and Sub-tier supplier tracking.
• Work with multiple projects and interact with several departments and various levels of management simultaneously.
• Manage/assist with process improvement projects, prioritize project work, and support the needs of CORE operating system.
• Utilize project management approach and process improvement discipline to lead projects according to plan, including identifying and mitigating project risks.
• Gather feedback and work to identify new improvement projects in conjunction with Supplier Development Leaders.
• Be an active participant in Commodity Days, EMMs and SEMO (Supplier Exec Management Overviews), and co-lead with our customers and Supplier Development Leaders on the respective Supplier.
• Must be able to travel up to 80% of your time within the Greater Tampa Bay, FL Area.
• On-site at suppliers 80% of your time, 20% of the time working from home office.

Qualifications

• A College Degree or equivalent experience and 5 years of prior delivery assurance, supply chain, or related experience; or an advanced degree with 2 years of experience.
• Reside in the Greater Tampa Bay, FL Area.
• U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
