[Hiring] Service & Installation Supervisor @Conexon

Role Description

Conexon is a rapidly growing telecommunications company partnering with Rural Electric Cooperatives to design and deploy advanced fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) networks nationwide. Our mission is to bridge the digital divide by delivering reliable, high-speed internet and phone services to Rural America. We are currently looking for a Service and Installation Supervisor to join our team in the Florida Panhandle area.

• Hire and train personnel on service, installation processes, and procedures
• Provide leadership to Connect Fiber Optic Technicians
• Ensure all field personnel are outfitted with necessary tools and equipment
• Ensure proper processes are in place for maintaining all tools and equipment
• Ensure proper inventory management practices are in place for CPE, service and installation materials
• Oversee drivers of company fleet and provide leadership of proper vehicle usage and maintenance
• Manage service technician scheduling
• Develop and maintain service and install reporting/dashboards as needed
• Complete EOD reporting requirements
• Manage storm restoration service process
• Develop and maintain process for damage notifications
• Manage service trouble tickets and drop restoration process
• Assist OSP Construction department with troubleshooting as needed
• Troubleshoot from the home to the tap
• Manage Connect commercial installations
• Manage commercial install technicians are properly trained and equipped
• Manage commercial install schedules and dispatch
• Assist with management of Connect Complete projects
• Build/maintain positive business relationships with our co-op clients
• Travel to co-op clients as needed
• Ensure service technicians assist Conexon Project Managers & Maintenance Managers troubleshoot issues in the field when needed
• Work together with Connect Sales/Marketing team & Co-op clients to determine causes of low performance & provide feedback on how to increase sales & penetration rates
• Assist with escalated customer complaints/issues as required
• Support RDOF regulatory field verification
• Additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma required (College degree preferred)
• 3+ years’ experience in fiber optic ISP operations/construction field
• Strong P.C. and Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to use optical test equipment including fusion splicers and OTDRs
• Safely operate a company vehicle
• Strong communication skills
• Initiative to work remotely with limited supervision
• Strong leadership skills
