[Hiring] Senior Operations Manager, DTC E-Commerce @Hyprwork

Role Description

The Senior Operations Manager is the operational backbone between product sourcing and customer-facing execution. You sit at the intersection of supply chain, Shopify, demand planning, and marketing delivery — acting as the bridge between our Supply Chain Manager and the marketing team.

You own what happens between the factory and the storefront:

• Inventory integrity
• Demand forecasting
• Shopify backend accuracy
• 3PL coordination
• Operational readiness for campaigns

This isn’t your typical coordinator position. As a senior operator, you’ll take the lead in:

• Negotiating with suppliers and logistics partners globally
• Making independent decisions on inventory placement
• Proactively spotting potential issues

You’ll also cover operational hours that stretch beyond your counterpart in China, ensuring seamless continuity across time zones during our 8am–12pm EST collaboration window.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in e-commerce operations, with a strong emphasis on cross-border logistics and US-bound supply chains
• Hands-on experience managing Shopify at the backend level: product management, pricing, order workflows, and integrations
• Demonstrated experience managing 3PL vendors and negotiating with logistics and supplier partners across multiple geographies
• Demand planning or inventory management experience in a DTC or e-commerce context
• Experience working in a remote-first, async environment with cross-functional teams across multiple time zones

Requirements

• Proficient with Shopify backend operations and order management workflows
• Comfortable with campaign and plugin management tools (CKC or equivalent)
• Advanced Excel proficiency for demand planning and inventory management: VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIF/SUMIFS, INDEX+MATCH, pivot tables, forecasting formulas, and replenishment calculations
• Strong analytical mindset: able to build and interpret demand forecasts, inventory reports, and logistics KPIs
• Confident negotiator with suppliers, 3PLs, and logistics partners
