[Hiring] Senior Director, SIOP @Regal Rexnord

Role Description

The Senior Director of SIOP Materials Management will lead excellence around material supply planning, supplier relationships, in-plant materials management, inventory control, and is a key member of the division leadership team.

This leadership position will focus on improving material flow by balancing demand and supply through the maturity of SIOP, demand planning, master scheduling, material planning, inventory management, production control, and logistics processes. This role is accountable for the supply and movement of all materials from their source to the point of use on the assembly line, actively planning and executing to achieve productivity and efficiency targets as well as managing risk and generating cost savings to achieve the strategic goals of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a vision and long-term strategy related to the process, systems, and skills roadmap for materials management and SIOP function across the division, aligned with the broader Regal Rexnord organization.
• Identify opportunities to develop, improve or simplify processes, guidelines and policies for effective supplier management practices, order fulfillment, inventory management and materials management.
• Manage business risks by implementing resolutions and diversifying supplier base across the in-plant materials management and supply chain management function.
• Ensure SIOP plan is set to meet customer expectations and align manufacturing facilities to support plan.
• Identify and implement total supply chain improvements. Increase supply chain visibility to assist in inventory reduction and on time delivery. Evaluate networks and pursue systems/process enhancements to reduce costs and improve reliability.
• Lead supply chain and materials management initiatives by providing direction and guidance by setting clear performance expectations and coaching to key stakeholders.
• Manage/collaborate with demand planning, product line leadership, engineering, operations, and finance teams to drive cross-functional alignment.
• Build and develop relationships at the executive level with suppliers and partners to ensure contractual commitment, alignment, and accountability.
• Foster a culture focused on continuous improvement aimed at achieving predictability and efficient materials management operations.
• Establish performance monitoring/KPI programs to effectively measure the performance of divisions internal team and our supply chain.
• Develop analytics to measure, evaluate, analyze, and take corrective action to continually improve key metrics in materials management and the supply chain function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in supply chain materials management or logistics.
• 5+ years of leadership/management experience particularly in global operations.
• Proven track record in overseeing global supply chain, inventory control, procurement and supplier relationships.
• Ability to optimize inventory and reduce costs while ensuring production needs.
• Proficiency in supply chain analytics and data driven decision making tools.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, especially in a multicultural environment.
• Critical thinking skills to properly identify problem area & potential solutions.

• Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time domestically and internationally as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree (MBA or MS) in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
• Expertise in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (SAP Preferred).
• Familiarity with global trade regulations, customs and import/export compliance.
• APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM).
• Lean Six Sigma certification (e.g., Green Belt or Black Belt).
• Experience with High Mix / Low Volume and Low Mix / High Volume manufacturing.

Expected Salary

$200,000 – 230,000 annually. The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for all statewide locations across the United States. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, candidate's skill set, level of experience, education, and internal peer compensation comparisons.
