[Hiring] Regional Operations Coordinator @Return

Role Description

We're looking for someone who thrives on making the moving parts move and who cares about why they're moving. This role is the force multiplier. The Regional Operations Coordinator serves as the central coordination point for trucking logistics and farmer data collection across all of Return's operating regions.

• Coordinate trucking logistics across Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin.
• Own the farmer onboarding data pipeline.
• Ensure information driving operations is accurate and complete.

This role has two primary pillars:

• Trucking Dispatch & Logistics:
  • Coordinate daily movement of product across Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin.
  • Schedule loads and communicate with internal drivers and third-party haulers.
  • Keep operations systems updated in real time.
• Farmer Onboarding & Compliance Data Collection:
  • Collect agronomic and regulatory data needed for farmer onboarding.
  • Ensure data flows to the right systems and people.

Qualifications

• Strong technology skills with proficiency in project management tools (Monday.com preferred), fleet management platforms (Samsara, Fleetio), and Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite.
• Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; written, verbal, and over the phone.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities without dropping anything.

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least two years of experience in logistics, dispatch, supply chain, or agricultural operations.
• Familiarity with agricultural concepts: crop rotations, fertility programs, field maps, and basic agronomy.
• Experience reading and working with FSA maps, plat maps, or GIS-based field mapping tools is highly desirable.
• Valid driver’s license.

Work Environment

This role is primarily remote with periodic field visits to operational sites across Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. During site visits, the Regional Operations Coordinator may occasionally work in outside weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.

Location & Availability

This is a remote-eligible position. Some regional travel to operational sites will be required.
