[Hiring] Manager Corporate Reliability Senior @Ventura Foods

Role Description

Responsible for leading the development, deployment, and sustainment of Ventura Foods' maintenance and reliability strategy across the manufacturing network. Provides enterprise leadership for reliability governance, asset management, work execution management, preventive and predictive maintenance programs, maintenance performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives. Partners with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Site Leadership teams to improve asset reliability, reduce equipment-related losses, build organizational capability, and establish standardized maintenance and reliability practices that drive asset management excellence and long-term business performance.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead Enterprise Reliability Strategy and Governance:
  • Establish and sustain the enterprise reliability strategy and governance model across the manufacturing network.
  • Provide leadership for reliability standards, performance expectations, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Drive reliability awareness, facilitate governance reviews, and lead overall strategy.
  • Partner with site leadership to improve asset performance, maintenance effectiveness, and operational reliability.
  • Oversee preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance programs.
• Drive Reliability Program Deployment and Technical Execution:
  • Lead the development, implementation, and sustainment of enterprise reliability programs.
  • Deploy work order management processes, asset management strategies, and preventive maintenance optimization.
  • Partner with site maintenance teams to ensure successful execution and standardization.
  • Provide direction for MRO, spare parts optimization, and inventory strategies.
• Develop Reliability Capability and Organizational Effectiveness:
  • Build organizational capability by developing maintenance and reliability talent.
  • Lead technical training programs, reliability workshops, and coaching activities.
  • Ensure teams have the knowledge, tools, and competencies necessary for reliability objectives.
• Manage Reliability Performance and Continuous Improvement:
  • Develop and manage reliability performance measurement systems.
  • Establish and maintain reliability scorecards, key performance indicators, and reporting processes.
  • Analyze performance trends and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Establish standardized root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action processes.
• Provide Maintenance Systems and Process Leadership:
  • Provide leadership for maintenance business processes, systems, and standards.
  • Oversee CMMS utilization, maintenance data integrity, and contractor management practices.
  • Ensure maintenance systems and processes support decision-making and operational efficiency.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Industrial Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive maintenance, reliability, engineering, or manufacturing experience in a food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods environment.
• Experience implementing maintenance and reliability systems, including CMMS, work order management, and reliability performance management.
• Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) or equivalent reliability certification.
• Experience leading enterprise or multi-site reliability initiatives.

• Knowledge of reliability engineering principles, including preventive maintenance (PM) and predictive maintenance (PdM).
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of food manufacturing regulatory requirements and food safety programs.
• Excellent computer skills in up-to-date software such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project.
• Working knowledge of CMMS systems and maintenance planning processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and sustain standardized maintenance and reliability processes.
• Ability to work with plant management personnel and outside vendors.
• In-depth knowledge of plant process operations and ability to identify problems and inefficiencies.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Must have a background in wastewater management, safety, and ammonia refrigeration.
