Responsible for collaborating with branch leadership to manage facility maintenance projects, technician work orders, and preventive maintenance services. Supports senior regional facility specialists and the branch services team as necessary.

• Manages end-to-end requests from branches utilizing Freshdesk across the business.
• Assists landlords and senior management in making financial decisions related to repairs and maintenance for White Cap operational facilities by obtaining vendor quotes and submitting and managing capital expense requests.
• Receives Freshdesk tickets and assigns to other Specialists based on regional responsibility.
• May provide additional support to senior specialists when needed.
• Researches and uses assigned financial approval responsibility to procure vendors for facilities work.
• Interprets facilities' legal lease language to identify financial obligations.
• Acts as a liaison for businesses when interacting with local, state, and federal agencies (such as fire departments, building authorities, and OSHA).
• Ensures the facility remains in compliance with OSHA and other safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline.
• Certification may be required in some areas.
• Generally 0-2 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 0-1 year of experience in a related field.

• Strong customer service, communication, interpersonal, time management, decision-making, and effective problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks based on business needs and urgency.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of OSHA, as well as local and federal facilities-related regulations.
