Role Description

The Dasher & Logistics team is responsible for ensuring every delivery is completed with speed, accuracy, and a high-quality experience for Consumers, Merchants, and Dashers. Within this group, the Global Live Operations team serves as the execution arm of the Live Operations Strategy & Operations (S&O) team, supporting real-time decision-making and operational continuity across the marketplace.

As a Global Live Operations Specialist, you will execute structured, real-time workflows that support delivery quality and operational performance across DoorDash’s marketplace. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role where you will follow established playbooks, monitor live operations, and take action to resolve issues as they arise.

• Execute daily operational workflows to maintain delivery quality and efficiency (e.g., weather playbooks, event support, supply adjustments)
• Monitor live dashboards and respond in real time to emerging issues impacting deliveries
• Investigate individual deliveries or operational anomalies and escalate findings appropriately
• Research local events or conditions that may impact operations
• Communicate clearly and professionally with cross-functional partners to share updates or escalate issues
• Follow established playbooks consistently, while identifying opportunities for clarification or improvement
• Support testing of new tools and workflows, and provide structured feedback to improve efficiency over time

In your first 3–6 months, you will:

• Execute core workflows independently with high accuracy and consistency
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail in repetitive, high-volume tasks
• Identify and escalate operational issues in a timely and effective manner
• Build familiarity with key tools, dashboards, and playbooks
• Contribute thoughtful feedback to improve workflows and reduce manual effort

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with high accuracy
• Clear written and verbal communication skills

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (preferred)
• Experience in operations, logistics, customer support, or other structured, process-driven environments (preferred)
• Familiarity with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) (preferred)
• Basic experience working with data or operational tools (e.g. Mode Analytics, Sigma/Looker/Power BI Dashboards) (preferred)

For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.

For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked, and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked.

The national base pay range for this position within the United States is $18.80 — $27.60 USD.
