[Hiring] EU Process Engineer @Amazon

Role Description

The European Amazon Logistics team is seeking an experienced, innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Sr Process Engineer to drive standardization and innovation in physical infrastructure, layout, and material flow across our Last Mile delivery network. As a member of the EU Amazon Logistics Engineering team, you will be responsible for:

• Producing and refining process standards
• Developing new products and processes
• Building on current best practices for physical infrastructure
• Designing Amazon Logistics equipment used across the EU network and beyond

Infrastructure you develop will always be produced to meet safety, customer experience, capacity, quality, and cost goals. You will act as a key point of contact for your area of responsibility within the EU Amazon Logistics processes, frequently partnering with leaders in the field, as well as other operational support functions and your worldwide counterparts. The core process infrastructure ownership element of this role spans Delivery Station under-the-roof and On-the-Road operations.

This position requires deep customer focus, strong autonomy, and exceptional project management skills. It will involve regular communication with executors and project sponsors at both the European and worldwide level, and requires you to be detail-oriented and comfortable partnering across functional business and technical teams. To be successful in this role, you need to pair strong analytical skills and a data-driven outlook with strong intuition.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a large team or fast-paced corporate environment
• Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
• Experience in Design/Innovation, research & development, manufacturing, process, industrial engineering, or related work
• Experience in project management
• Bachelor's degree
• MBA or Master's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics, or related field
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python
• Experience working effectively across cross-functional teams
• Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal

Requirements

• Lead the design and development of new processes, equipment, process-flows, Infrastructure across all process paths with AMZL
• Optimize existing processes/equipment and drive expansion of new processes/equipment from concept to deployment
• Own and drive programs that improve capacity, productivity, safety, and ergonomics within Delivery Stations
• Author and chair reports/business case reviews to document project status and changes with senior leadership
• Track metrics to identify areas of improvement across all process paths
• Communicate expansion status/project outputs to senior leaders periodically
• Create strategy for long-term roadmap
