Role Description

As a Director of Operations, you will join a diverse, passionate team, dedicated to powering the world’s payments ecosystem!

  • Supports the ACI Product organization’s senior leadership team.
  • Defines and maintains product-related policies.
  • Implements and governs product-related processes.
  • Manages projects to improve efficiency and decision-making.
  • Works with other staff members and business functions to implement recommendations or improvements.
  • Provides governance and oversight of key processes and policies required by Product Management.

A typical day at ACI for the Director of Operations includes:

  • Improving operational systems, processes, and policies in support of the organization's mission.
  • Supporting better management reporting, information flow, and management.
  • Executing and governing business process and product lifecycle processes.
  • Playing a significant role in short and long-term planning for operational excellence.
  • Understanding and adhering to all corporate policies, including the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
  • Owning and overseeing the monthly enterprise risk management (ERM) cadence for product-related risks.
  • Leading the first-line compliance function within the Payment Software division.
  • Providing product governance and operationalization across required systems.
  • Providing business operations functions for Third Party partnerships.
  • Leading a small, experienced team with clarity, accountability, and consistency.
  • Supporting management reporting and analysis.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 10 years of experience in Business Operations and Product Lifecycle development; 15+ preferred.
  • Leadership or management experience required.
  • Excellent computer skills; proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
  • Budget development and oversight experience.
  • Commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, community environment.
  • Excellent people manager, open to direction and collaboration.
  • Ability to challenge and debate issues of importance to the organization.
  • Ability to view situations from multiple perspectives.
  • Persuasive with details and facts.

Requirements

  • Project Management Certification preferred.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Experience managing and leading teams.
  • Experience in Product Lifecycle Development.
  • Experience in Business Unit Operations.
  • Experience in Process and Policy development, implementation, and governance.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across the organization.

Work Environment

  • Standard office or remote work environment.
  • Majority of time spent working on a computer.
  • Travel required (domestic and/or international), approximately 10–20%.
