Role Description

The Carrier Operations Analyst plays a key role in delivering high-quality service across the enterprise, owning a portfolio of carrier relationships and driving operational excellence. This role serves as the primary point of contact for carriers, leading day-to-day execution while managing projects that improve efficiency, quality, and overall performance.

You’ll take ownership of complex workstreams—balancing project delivery, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement. This is an opportunity to operate at both a tactical and strategic level, identifying smarter ways of working while ensuring seamless execution.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage a portfolio of carrier relationships as the primary operational contact
• Lead and deliver mid-sized projects independently; support larger initiatives as needed
• Handle escalations, analyze data, and drive resolution on complex issues
• Partner with internal teams, carriers, and vendors to ensure seamless execution
• Support both day-to-day operations and new implementations
• Gather requirements, support UAT, and validate system updates and enhancements
• Identify and drive process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce manual work
• Ensure accuracy, performance, and SLA alignment across deliverables
• Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of team members
• Provide guidance and support on escalated operational issues

Qualifications

• Experience managing mid-to-large scale projects
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Visio)
• Experience working with CRM systems and data analysis/querying
• Understanding of operational workflows and process dependencies
• Experience collaborating with external partners or vendors
• 2+ years in an analyst or similar role
• Experience in a regulated environment
• Medicare experience is a plus
