Role Description

The Business Operations Manager, Marketing & Communications, ensures the department has the systems, processes, and discipline it needs to run reliably and scale. This role translates strategic priorities into sustainable operational processes by overseeing:

• Budgeting
• Financial reporting
• Contracts
• Procurement
• Sponsorships
• Vendor management
• Technology administration
• Department-wide operating standards

Acting as a trusted partner to Marketing & Communications leadership, the Manager, Business Operations provides transparency, accountability, and operational discipline that enable the team to focus on:

• Strategic planning
• Brand management
• Communications
• Campaign execution

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• 5-8 years of experience in business operations, finance, procurement, project management, marketing operations, or related functions.
• Experience managing departmental budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
• Experience developing operational processes, governance frameworks, and reporting structures.
• Demonstrated success working across multiple stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and process-design skills.
• Comfort building operational systems and infrastructure from the ground up.
