Role Description

We are looking for a people-focused Operations Manager to join our client's team and oversee day-to-day operations for an offshore accounting company supporting painting and construction businesses. In this role, you will drive operational efficiency, service quality, and process improvement while leading and developing managers and senior staff, particularly the Philippine-based team. You will work closely with leadership to translate business goals into actionable plans, oversee different departments, monitor performance, and ensure teams remain aligned with company values, processes, and client commitments. The ideal candidate is warm, approachable, hands-on, and comfortable serving as a key operational partner to the client in a fast-paced, growing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient workflows, strong service delivery, and alignment across teams.
• Develop and improve operational processes, systems, and workflows to increase productivity, scalability, and performance.
• Partner with the CEO and leadership team on business growth, team development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead and develop managers and senior staff, with a focus on employee engagement, retention, culture, and career growth.
• Oversee cross-functional operations, monitor KPIs and performance, and identify opportunities to improve processes and optimize resources.
• Support change management, new processes, and technology adoption across teams.
• Collaborate with HR on employee coaching, performance management, and escalated employee matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, HR, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience as a Country Manager, Director of Operations, Operations Manager, or similar senior leadership role within a small to mid-sized company is preferred.
• 5+ years of solid experience in operations leadership, ideally within an offshoring, outsourcing, accounting, or technical services environment.
• Proven experience managing remote teams and working across multiple departments.
• Strong experience in operational strategy, process improvement, and performance management.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with experience working with US and Philippine teams.
• Warm, approachable, and people-oriented, with a genuine interest in supporting and developing people.
• Able to lead collaboratively without being overly rigid or hierarchical, with strong judgment and emotional intelligence.
• Comfortable serving as the client's right-hand in managing operational priorities across the business.
• Familiarity with ClickUp or similar project management platforms.
• Candidates with extensive experience primarily in traditional BPO environments are not preferred.
• Adaptable and hands-on, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, growing environment.
• Can start immediately, if possible.
