[Hiring] Virtual Primary Care Physician @One Medical

Role Description

As One Medical continues to expand and transform the primary care experience, we're seeking physicians to deliver exceptional virtual primary care. In this role, you'll care for One Medical patients through scheduled and on-demand visits via video and asynchronous messaging channels.

The One Medical Virtual Medical Team (VMT) is a leading provider of virtual clinical care, providing world-class, convenient, evidence-based virtual medical care to One Medical patients. • Treat patients via telehealth visits, including video visit appointments, supporting a panel and message-based care
• Manage patients with a broad array of patient needs virtually, conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits
• Adopt standard work and clinical protocols for evidence-based clinical care
• Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
• Ongoing collaboration with teammates and leadership via daily huddles
• Collaborative oversight of 4-8 NP or PA colleagues

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program
• Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in a primary care or virtual primary care setting
• Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine
• Active state license in either CA, NY or DC
• Minimum of 15 state licenses and willingness to obtain and maintain additional licenses with the support of our One Medical Credentialing Team

• Experience with virtual care and/or virtual primary care preferred
• A passion for human-centered primary care
• The ability to successfully communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds
• The ability to effectively use technology to deliver high quality care
• Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
• The desire to be an integral part of a team dedicated to changing healthcare delivery
• An openness to feedback and reflection to gain productive insight into strengths and weaknesses
• The ability to confidently navigate uncertain situations with both patients and colleagues
• Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet the needs of our patients
• Adaptability and flexibility to deliver care and evolve models of virtual care delivery within a growth-phase clinical organization

Benefits

• The base salary range for this role is $262,000 to $278,500 based on a full-time schedule.
• Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience and patient care schedule.
• Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
• The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
