Role Description
We're looking to add Healthcare professionals who enjoy using technology to serve patients and give the highest level of care, all from a comfortable business setting. We provide indirect patient care in a nursing center; we are connected to the patient rooms by cameras. Our Healthcare team is able to see and talk with the patients. Our virtual certified care team members help keep patients safe by watching and talking to them via the cameras and speaker in the room to help them not fall. They provide virtual sitter care.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Monitor patient's safety

Obtain verbal report from the patient's nurse to include information regarding the patient's identified care needs, diagnosis, visual, auditory, or language barriers, as well as any special considerations (NPO, bed alarms, etc.).

Ensure complete visualization of the patient via remote monitoring equipment.

Obtain instruction from nurse regarding ambulation limitations and course of action for redirection of the patient if needed.

Observe the patient's activity and behavior and redirect the patient as needed. If indicated, immediately notify floor staff of the need for physical intervention (such as toileting assistance, assisting the patient to lie back in bed, moving an item closer, etc).

Able to identify safety risks and communicate the need to escalate assistance to the patient.

Function cooperatively as a team member. Respond as directed by a responsible nurse to changing patients'/unit's needs.

Communicate in a professional manner and demonstrate respect for patients, families/significant others, and other healthcare members.

Offer support and feedback to peers and staff. Apply principles of caring and healing in interactions with patientsβ families and with colleagues.

Accurately record data collected and notify RN of any untoward events, i.e., behavioral changes, violent behavior, etc.

Offer consistent support to team members.

Comply with all hospital rules, regulations, and nursing standards.

Maintain the privacy and security of all confidential and protected health information. Use and disclose only that information which is necessary to perform the function of the job.

Perform related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Active and unrestricted Philippine Nurse License

At least 1 year of clinical experience or related work experience

Exposure to US healthcare is an advantage

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong computer navigation skills, including common PC applications

Ability to work with others within the team to ensure quality patient care

Strong critical problem-solving skills
-
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Ability to work independently and under pressure
