Responsibilities

• Discuss and review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications.
• Deliver excellent patient care through virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations.
• Conduct a virtual skin evaluation to assess the overall health and condition of a patient's skin.
• Perform focused virtual examinations to diagnose and monitor specific skin conditions.
• Diagnose and manage common dermatological conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, fungal infections, and dermatitis.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including skin biopsies, patch tests, and cultures.
• Prescribe medications such as topical creams, biologics, oral antibiotics, antifungal.
• Collaborate with in-person dermatologists to plan and implement treatment.
• Educate patients on proper skincare routines, sun protection, and lifestyle modifications.
• Counsel patients on the importance of early detection and prevention of skin cancer.
• Provide guidance on self-examination for suspicious moles or lesions.
• Monitor patients for medication side effects and treatment response.
• Manage chronic dermatological conditions, including psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, hidradenitis suppurativa.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers for comprehensive patient care.
• Schedule patient appointments, follow-ups, and surgeries.
• Engage with clinical leadership to ensure strong patient care and resolution of concerns.
• Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner.
• Implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by CMO and Supervising Physicians.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced, autonomous environment.
• Attend mandatory monthly meetings with Supervising physicians and E/M training.

• Communicate regularly within the team to support excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) and/or Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies (MMS).
• Over 1 year of experience as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant in medical dermatology.
• Experience as a provider in a relevant practice utilizing a Virtual Medicine platform preferred.
• Current License and DEA must be active, in good standing, and verifiable.
• Providers must be able to treat all ages and meet credentialing requirements.
• DOT certification required to be obtained within 60 days of employment and maintained during employment.
