Role Description
The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) invites applications for a specialist in Virtual Urgent Care (Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine trained) to provide virtual care services to our members throughout our service areas in DC, MD & VA. Candidates must reside in Maryland, Virginia, or the District of Columbia.
This position requires you to work a mixture of in-person clinical shifts in our Advanced Urgent Cares for the first 3 months (approximately 120 hours) alongside telemedicine shifts before you begin your virtual-only position so that you will learn our integrated system. To maintain familiarity with our integrative care model, a minimum of 100 hours (approximately 0.05 FTE) of in-person urgent care, dispersed throughout the year, is required annually.

The starting annual salary for this position is $280,000 which considers an applicantโs skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors.
