Role Description

As a Triage Coordinator, you will serve as the crucial first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a seamless start to their healthcare journey. In this pivotal role, you will:

• Assess patient needs and guide them through the initial stages of their treatment plan.
• Oversee a compassionate and efficient patient onboarding process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess medical records, referrals, and clinical evidence to determine treatment eligibility, flagging where further documentation is needed.
• Screen documentation for contraindications or underlying conditions that could affect care.
• Contact patients directly to advise on outstanding requirements and guide them through submitting additional evidence.
• Flag medication interactions, contraindications, or safety concerns to the clinical team via the triage assessment.
• Escalate complex or borderline cases to the right specialist for final review.

Qualifications

• Previous healthcare experience, familiar with healthcare terminology.
• Experience from a medical admin background or as a practitioner.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Methodical and organised approach to managing competing priorities.
• Confidence in using digital tools and systems with minimal supervision.

Work Pattern

• This is a fully remote, full-time role working 37.5 hours a week across Thursday - Monday.
• Role involves irregular hours, with weekend work required.
