Role Description

The Transplant Medical Science Liaison (MSL) provides comprehensive medical and scientific information in connection with Sanofi products. The Transplant MSL serves as an advanced field-based scientific professional for the US Medical Affairs division of North American Pharmaceutical Operations.

• Shares scientific and clinical data with US healthcare providers and clinical researchers.
• Facilitates research, education, or other collaborations.
• Supports the US Medical Affairs mission of generating, translating, and communicating clinical and scientific data.
• Establishes scientific and professional credibility with customers and healthcare stakeholders.
• Communicates appropriately and compliantly via scientific exchange on the value of Sanofi products.
• Provides insights to internal teams on key medical education gaps.
• Identifies clinical research sites or educational opportunities when appropriate.
• Engages in scientific exchange by providing clinical data or disease state education.
• Communicates Medical Materials Review Committee (MMRC)-approved clinical information.
• Identifies and communicates customer insights to internal teams.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant scientific or medical field (MD, PhD, PharmD, NP, PA, or equivalent clinical advanced degree).
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or biotechnology industry, managed care, or patient care setting.
• Experience in transplantation, Solid Organ Transplant (SOT), kidney, lung, or Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT).

Requirements

• Post-doctoral residency or fellowship in solid organ transplant, bone marrow transplant, or pharmaceutical program.
• Prior MSL or field medical experience.
• Transplant certification or equivalent specialized training.
• Experience in clinical research design and execution.
• Prior pharmaceutical industry experience.
• MBA, MHA, or MPH.
