[Hiring] Telehealth Veterinary Technician @Chewy

Role Description

Chewy is looking for a Telehealth Veterinary Technician to join our Healthcare Team. Come join our growing organization and be a part of revolutionizing the virtual care industry! This is a Part Time position between 20-25 hrs / wk and shift lengths averaging 8hrs. The majority of these shifts will be during evenings and weekends. Team Members must be located in the following states: AZ, FL, IA, KS, OK, PA, TX, or WA.

The Telehealth Veterinary Technician will:

• Participate and champion the support and education to Chewy's pet parents on products and services that help animal health and wellbeing.
• Provide subject matter expertise on companion animal health and wellness for Chewy Health.
• Participate in program development and enhancing training procedures.
• Identify and triage platform improvements and support innovative advancements.
• Collaborate with Chewy Health Team Members on the development of current and new services and products.
• Receive full training and vital materials to support effective communication with pet parents efficiently.

Qualifications

• Active Vet Tech License / Certification (CVT, LVT or RVT).
• A Veterinary Technology associates or bachelor’s degree from a NAVTA and/or AVMA-CVTEA accredited program, or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years of small animal veterinary experience or equivalent industry experience.
• Proficient computer skills for interacting with customers and Chewy Team Members remotely through an online platform.
• Exemplary listening and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask comfortably.
• Comfortable collaborating with other veterinary technicians and veterinarians in a team-oriented environment.
• Passionate about helping people and pets with compassion and excellent customer service focus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, self-starter environment.
• Internet speed must be at least 50 Mbps (download) and 10 Mbps (upload).
• Have a designated working space that is quiet and free from disruptions.
• Minimal travel required.
