Role Description

The Telehealth Registered Nurse (RN) works as part of a multidisciplinary team and is responsible for all nursing care provided to their assigned patients. The Telehealth RN is also responsible to carry out orders from the medical practitioner and to communicate any barriers to providing service immediately to his or her supervisor and attending medical practitioner.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree from an accredited school of nursing required.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school of nursing preferred.
• 1-3 years of Health Care related experience where prior experience provides adequate exposure to both behavioral and medical crisis situations preferred.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Arizona (or Compact) Board of Nursing Registered Nurse licensure current and in good standing without restrictions.
• Valid identification.

• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Effective communication skills to report barriers to service.
