Role Description

The Vice President of Clinical Operations for Ambulatory Surgery at CommonSpirit Health is a critical executive leadership position. This role is primarily responsible for ensuring the ongoing clinical excellence, maintaining rigorous quality standards, and guaranteeing regulatory adherence across CommonSpirit's extensive network of multi-regional ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs).

Operating remotely, this position requires substantial nationwide travel to provide centralized strategic oversight and direct operational guidance. The VP will be tasked with:

• Standardizing and optimizing clinical processes
• Fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Ensuring the consistent delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality patient care throughout the entire ASC network
• Supporting growth initiatives
• Embedding best practices aligned with the CommonSpirit mission

Requirements

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for all clinical aspects across CommonSpirit's ASC network
• Ensure comprehensive adherence to all federal, state, and accreditation regulations (e.g., CMS, AAAHC)
• Standardize clinical workflows and optimize processes
• Remotely recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing clinical leadership team
• Actively contribute to strategic planning and support the integration of new ASCs
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
