[Hiring] Surgery Scheduling Coordinator @NCS - Globus Medical, Inc.

Role Description

As a Surgery Scheduling Coordinator at NuVasive Clinical Services, you will schedule cases for and maintain relationships with the scheduling offices of our client surgeons and hospitals. This is a remote position.

• Handle the scheduling of intraoperative neuromonitoring for surgical cases.
• Fulfill scheduling requests via phone, email, and fax.
• Assist the billing department by gathering ICD10 coding and insurance coverage information.
• Communicate constantly with hospital and surgeon clients.
• Obtain clinical information required for patient care and enter that information in our scheduling system.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and/or experience in the medical field is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Two to five years of office experience demonstrating an increase in responsibility, including a minimum of 6 months of data entry experience.
• Ability to read and write well enough to proof business correspondence for typographical errors and spelling.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Demonstrated typing and proof-reading skills.
• Ability to coach, communicate, and work effectively with others.

Requirements

• Schedules daily and emergent cases, confirming all next day cases.
• Develops and maintains relationships with surgeon and hospital schedulers.
• Ensures client issues are addressed to satisfaction and documented.
• Coordinates with after-hours answering service on-call schedule.
• Day Shift (8am - 5pm PT).
• Adheres to company Code of Conduct and compliance with applicable laws.
• Represents the company in a professional manner.
