[Hiring] Supervisor, Professional Coding & Charge Capture @Seattle Children's

Role Description

Please note: this position is 100% remote for WASHINGTON STATE ONLY.

• Supervises, plans, and directs the daily activities of professional fee coders and charge entry staff.
• Oversees staff training and performance as well as timely submission of Professional Fee charges.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Health Information Management & Systems (or closely related field) from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum two years of progressively responsible, directly related work experience in the Health Information Management field.
• Certified Coding Associate (CCS-P) thru AHIMA or CPC thru APPC.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Health Information, Health Care Administration, or related field.
• Preferred: Three or more years of directly related experience, including leadership.
• Preferred: Experience in Surgical specialty professional fee coding, Teaching physician rules, EPIC system knowledge, and Resolute billing module.

Requirements

• Compensation Range: $73,378.00 - $110,066.00 per year.
• This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year).
• Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
