Role Description

The Supervising Mail Operations Pharmacist is responsible for the accurate dispensing of prescribed medication to patients. This role involves:

• Working within thorough, prescribed guidelines and procedures.
• Using independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors to solve basic problems.
• Collaborating with management and top professionals/specialists in selection of methods, techniques, and analytical approach.
• Ensuring adherence to quality assurance standards and accurate tracking techniques.
• Overseeing a group of typically support and technical associates.
• Coordinating and providing daily oversight to associates.
• Holding team members accountable for following established policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, or a PharmD.
• Licensed as a PHARMACIST in state(s) of practice.
• Participate in Federal prescription programs.
• One year Supervisory experience.
• Excellent leadership and coaching skills.
• Proficient in computers.
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences.

Requirements

• Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.
