[Hiring] Staff RN Ambulatory Clinic @Froedtert

Role Description

The Staff RN-Ambulatory Clinics works collaboratively as an active member of the interprofessional team to provide therapeutic patient and family centered care. The role includes:

• Systematically and continuously collecting and assessing data related to patient health status.
• Developing, executing, and evaluating the plan of care.
• Utilizing evidence to drive clinical decisions and practice related to individual and population health.
• Establishing goals and strategies for meeting care coordination needs across settings with the patient, family, and/or other care providers.
• Considering factors related to safety, effectiveness, and fiscal accountability in planning and delivering care.
• Delegating and supervising care in accordance with the WI Nurse Practice.
• Participating in continuous quality improvement initiatives and assuming responsibility for professional development.
• Major accountabilities include patient care coordination, direct patient care, patient education, telephone triage/eVisits, and performing/assisting with in-clinic minor procedures.
• May float to other areas as needed for operations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Clinical experience and/or interest in the care and management of patient populations specific to the area of employment.
• At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience, preferred.
• Nursing licensure required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.

Requirements

• Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
