Role Description
As a Specialty Pharmacy Technician, youβll be responsible for:

Interpreting and entering prescription data in our pharmacy system

Answering incoming calls and completing outbound calls to/from patients, physicians, and pharmacists

Ensuring a high level of customer service and maximized productivity

Working within multiple computer systems simultaneously to respond to questions or provide specific medication details/clinical information

Maintaining proficiency and quality as standardized by the department
This role is equally challenging and rewarding, requiring you to deliver important, sometimes life-saving medications in an accurate and efficient manner.
Schedule: 8-hour shift between 7am - 7pm CST, Monday - Friday with possibility of weekends and overtime.
If you reside in Michigan, Arizona, Florida, or Texas, you'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute as you take on some tough challenges.
Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED

Current Pharmacy Technician state license in state of employment without restrictions

1+ years of pharmacy prescription processing experience

1+ years of experience with computer navigation and Microsoft programs such as Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

Ability to work between the hours of 7 AM to 7 PM Monday through Friday

Reside in one of the following states: Michigan, Florida, Arizona, Texas
Requirements

Specialty pharmacy experience (preferred)

National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT or NHA) (preferred)

Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy

Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)

Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Telecommuting is not to be used as a substitute for children or dependent care
