Role Description

Applicants with a specialist understanding of ME/CFS and Post Viral Fatigue are invited to apply for the above post. This post will sit across both Countywide ME/CFS and Post Covid Syndrome (PCS) Services.

• Provide complex, functional, cognitive, affect and emotional assessment to patients with debilitating conditions.
• Collaborative occupational approach to patient rehabilitation and care.
• Background in neurology, sensory integration, community rehabilitation, cognitive and behavioural approaches is desired.
• Good understanding of working with people with ME/CFS and PCS is needed; training, supervision, and support will be provided.
• Provide tailored programmes of rehabilitation based on symptom management and activity management.

• Background in neurology, sensory integration, community rehabilitation, cognitive and behavioural approaches.
• Ability to provide tailored rehabilitation programmes.

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions as a team member.
• Work across the health community to provide tailored and personalised care.
• Contribute to the measurement and evaluation of clinical practice using Evidence Based Practice.
• Act as a knowledgeable resource for teaching and training others.
• Contribute to clinical governance and service development.
• Jointly run and contribute to the service group-work programme.
