Role Description

Working in partnership with our client, we want you to create powerful and impactful copy for all forms of advertising, marketing, and sales materials, to help us educate, engage, and empower our audience with your words.

Producing well-written copy for various print and digital channels that meets the brief, is appropriate for the target audience, and is delivered to budget in a timely manner.

Write clear, concise, and accurate content for a variety of formats including websites, blogs, articles, brochures, social media, and promotional materials.

Adapt content to target specific audiences, including patients, healthcare professionals, and consumers.

Provide strategic support and own insight discovery to help leverage products messaging and asset delivery.

Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, coherence, and adherence to brand voice and style guidelines.

Oversee the team in the delivery of all copy required and ensure consistency of high standards and accuracy across all messaging to the agreed briefs and established brand values.

Keep up to date with industry codes of practice/legislation and external issues or events that may affect existing accounts and lead team updates.

As a senior member of the team, continually provide feedback to all members of the wider team effectively, ensuring learnings are taken forward onto future projects.

Ensure accuracy of all information, data, and referencing for the projects you and the team produce.
Qualifications

Strong background in medical or healthcare-related writing, with at least 5-6 years of experience as a medical writer.

Proficiency in researching medical topics and synthesizing complex information into clear, understandable content.

Experience of working closely with clients and be confident presenting to the client.

Educated to at least degree level in a scientific field. A higher degree would be an advantage.

Exceptional medical copywriting across both print and digital channels, providing new ideas while maintaining a high-quality scientific grounding.

Familiarity with the medical literature and databases, to perform literature searches and corroborate, challenge or strengthen client-supplied materials and messages, as appropriate.

Ability to communicate the science behind a brand or product category in an effective, clear, and concise manner in individual and group settings.

Excellent briefing and reviewing skills. Challenging client briefs and providing suggestions on added value items.

Experienced and confident in leading communication with clients.

Awareness of Veeva and experience of Client review process.

Very strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and balance several priorities, pressures, and demands.
