[Hiring] Senior Facility Coder @Infinx

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Facility Coder with a minimum of 5 years of hospital/facility coding experience. The ideal candidate will have experience with one-path coding for Inpatient, Observation, Swing Bed, and Ambulatory Surgery encounters. We are looking for more than someone who can assign codes. We need an experienced coder who can:

• Review the entire encounter and understand the clinical picture.
• Recognize documentation and compliance concerns.
• Research complex coding scenarios.
• Confidently manage multiple client responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and productivity.

The ideal candidate is dependable, accountable, adaptable, and comfortable working independently while also being an effective member of a collaborative coding and auditing team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recent hospital/facility coding experience.
• Experience coding Inpatient, Observation, Swing Bed, and Ambulatory Surgery.
• One-path coding experience required.
• CCS certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT/HCPCS, MS-DRGs, and official coding guidelines.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple client assignments.
• Strong critical-thinking, research, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a minimum 95% coding accuracy rate while meeting established productivity standards.
• Experience with multiple EHR systems and Critical Access Hospitals is a plus.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA, documentation standards, and audit expectations.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, metric-driven environment.
