Role Description

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Clinical Coding Analyst ACC Band 6 plus 5% R&R at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. This is a remote post but we also have opportunities for hybrid working.

We offer flexible working and also have an inhouse Clinical Coding Training and Audit team to support with future career development.

• The candidate should hold the National Clinical Coding Qualification (ACC).
• Must be able to work to the highest degree of accuracy within a busy clinical coding department.
• The Coding Team plays a critical role in ensuring that the clinical care received by the patients is accurately coded on the Trust PAS.
• Work to strict deadlines to meet National Submission deadlines.
• Contribute to ensuring the clinical coding teams deliver a quality coding service across the organisation.
• Provide accurate and timely clinical coding in accordance with national standards and requirements of clinical coding.

Qualifications

• National Clinical Coding Qualification (ACC).

Requirements

• Ability to work to the highest degree of accuracy.
• Experience in a busy clinical coding department.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Knowledge of national standards and requirements of clinical coding.
