Role Description

Utilize specialty databases to abstract patient data from electronic medical records for the application of medical registries.

• Perform primary data abstraction duties for clinical measures and registries while ensuring high levels of abstraction accuracy and alignment with organizational quality standards.
• Identify and communicate trends in clinical data to leadership.

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• At least 2 years of cardiovascular registry experience.
• At least 5 years of clinical cardiovascular experience (Cath Lab, CV Tech, etc).
• Experience working with Epic, Meditech, and/or Cerner.
