The RN Nurse Navigator Triage provides nursing triage services and health advice for patients over the phone and in person if applicable. Key responsibilities include:

• Assessing and determining the patients’ acuity level and the need for medical support.
• Providing results and education related to diagnostic testing to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Responsible for accurate, appropriate, and timely telephone and electronic messaging.
• Providing protocol-driven clinical advice.

This role is full-time, 36 hours weekly; Days and Nights. The position works 7a-730p or 7p-730a with the majority of the shifts being 7a-730p. Shifts may be 12, 8, 6, or 4 hours in length. Schedules are made based on patient needs.

• Every other weekend rotation and holiday rotation.
• Less than 25% travel may be required for orientation/training, meetings, or other business needs.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• 5 years nursing experience is strongly preferred.
• ICU/ED/Critical Care experience is strongly preferred.
• Specialty certification preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Windows, & TEAMs.

Requirements

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required).
• Bachelor's Degree-Nursing (Preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years-Nursing (Preferred).
• Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) - RN_State of Pennsylvania.
