Role Description

We are currently seeking a full-time Regional Consult Specialist to join our Regional Office team.

• Responsible for performing administrative duties to support program needs including clerical, secretarial, and administrative functions.
• Drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic logs in real time.
• Processing consult and prior approval for submission to Utilization Management.
• Receiving requests for patients to receive medical consultations and prior approval.
• Gathering and identifying the clinical documents to support the requests.
• Performing medical records entries regarding consult and prior approvals.
• Scheduling and conducting weekly calls with on-site leadership and providers.
• Working extensively with Fusion EMR and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Access.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Consult processing experience preferred.
• Minimum of one (1) year of secretarial or office experience with Centurion required.
• 3-5 years of experience preferred.
• Must have experience with Fusion EMR and UM workflows to include chart entries and order manager.
• Good communication and organizational skills, professional phone etiquette, and accurate typing skills.
• Demonstrated computer proficiency in Fusion EMR and Microsoft Office required.
• Working knowledge of spreadsheets and database programs.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Requirements

• Available Shift: Days, Monday-Friday.
• This position will be remote, after training and proficiency in the process.
• The chosen applicant is responsible for providing their own home internet.
