[Hiring] Radiology Prior Authorization Specialist @Nyx Health

Role Description

We’re looking for an EXPERIENCED U.S. based Radiology Prior Authorization Specialist with extensive, hands-on experience working prior authorizations in EPIC to join our Prior Authorization Team. EPIC proficiency 4+ years is required. This is not an entry-level training position, and candidates who require basic training on EPIC will not be considered. You will be responsible for:

• Completing insurance verifications
• Submitting and tracking prior authorizations
• Gathering required documentation
• Communicating with insurance payors and clinicians
• Following authorizations through to approval

All while working within a dynamic team-oriented atmosphere.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Radiology prior authorization experience within EPIC - Required
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in TEAMS

Requirements

• High School Diploma required; additional education in business or healthcare preferred
• Experience in prior authorization, utilization review, insurance verification, and EMR systems [preferred]
• Remote position
• Daily computer use during an 8 hr. shift; ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
• Reliable Internet
• Full Time M-F - 40 hour work week – NO WEEKENDS

Company Description

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shift. Pay: $21–$23 per hour, [With additional pay available for exceptional experience.] High performers will also be eligible for a performance bonus incentive.
