Role Description

The Psychologist provides counseling and psychological assessment and testing within an outpatient program. Responsibilities include:

• Performing assessment and testing for individual, family, and group counseling.
• Coordinating and implementing treatment plans.
• Providing crisis intervention as necessary.
• Delivering services to adults, adolescents, children, families, and couples.
• Maintaining a team approach in treating patients in concert with psychiatrists.
• Adhering to professional and ethical guidelines as outlined by mental health care organizations and associations.

• Knowledge of DSM-5 and mental health treatment standards.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Psychologist (NJ/PA preferred).
• Minimum of 2-5 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Experience conducting psychological testing and assessments.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions and treatment methods.
