Role Description

A Psychiatric Supervisor, NP delivers exceptional patient care while providing collaborative clinical supervision across interdisciplinary team(s). This role offers a unique opportunity to shape both direct treatment and clinical leadership within a growing, values-driven mental health practice.

The ideal candidate brings a nuanced understanding of mental health care. Our philosophy is grounded in biological, psychological, and environmental considerations and integrates both psychopharmacology and psychotherapy for comprehensive care.

The Psychiatric Supervisor, NP leads and supports a team of 6-8 clinicians through mentorship, supervision, and professional development—cultivating a culture of learning and self-improvement.

Qualifications

• Required Education Level: Master's Degree or higher
• Education Details: Completion of a BSN and a graduate of a Nurse Practitioners Master's Degree, or hold a Doctorate in Nursing
• 3–5 years of cumulative experience as a PMHNP
• Prior supervisory experience or demonstrated interest in supervision
• Ability to document concurrently during patient sessions
• Experience in outpatient settings
• Empathetic, collaborative, and supportive of psychotherapy practices
• Experience practicing Psychotherapy and Psychopharmacology synchronously
• Passion for educating, mentoring, and supervising clinicians
• Ability to interpret clinical and operational data to guide decisions
• Experience balancing caseload management with team leadership is a plus
• Proficiency with technology platforms (Google Suite required; EHR/EMR systems preferred)
• Intermediate technical aptitude
• Experience supervising psychiatric NPs in an integrated care model (preferred but not required)

Requirements

• Valid Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) / Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Active DEA License in good standing
• PMHNP-BC: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Board Certified
